Miu Miu always surprise me with their choice of stars for the ad campaigns. Last season Vanessa Paradis fronted the campaign for their luxe sportswear Autumn line and today it was revealed that Katie Holmes will star in the Spring one.
People announced this morning that Miu Miu have confirmed Katie following many rumours linking the actress and the Italian brand. 
The makeup pros turned to the culinary world for inspiration as they painted lips in hot tomato colours. For Autumn/Winter Miu Miu (below left) showed dark ketchup-coloured lips that were ultra glossy for eat-me appeal. Meanwhile next Spring is all about the orange-red, squashed tomato hue. 
The last of the Fashion Weeks, Paris Fashion Week, is now officially over but I still wanted to bring you a round-up on the best hair and beauty looks from the shows. This Autumn fashion is taking inspiration from the seasonal shades by drawing from a palette of orange, red and gold. It featured on the catwalk at Miu Miu, Donna Karan, Tibi and Bottega Veneta and definitely conjures up images of snuggling in front of a warm fire on a cool evening. When attempting this trend it's important to not simply consider colour but also texture (as seen on the right at Donna Karan). 
I realise I have shared a lot of sale news with you recently. Firstly there was Matches, followed closely by Start London and then this week Net a Porter opened their sale! Well, whilst glancing over Matches sale items (bare in mind that this sale has already been on for a month) I saw an extra reduction on these amazing Miu Miu heels.
