Fab Flash: Kate Moss for Topshop Sells Out

Yesterday, 18 months after the launch of her first capsule collection for the store, Kate Moss launched her Christmas line for Topshop at stores across the country and online. The collection, which included party dresses and military jackets, was particularly popular at Topshop's flagship store on Oxford Circus where shoppers queued for an hour before it opened to get their hands on the goods.

The panther claw dress (pictured, my personal favourite) sold out in just fifteen minutes! The dress also sold out online in two hours (although has since been restocked) and even the £400 sequinned dress sold out within several hours. Most of the designs were inspired by vintage items in Moss's wardrobe. Did you buy anything from the collection?

This morning saw the launch of another Kate Moss for Topshop line (the seventh) which is her Christmas collection including plenty of uber-short party dresses. The model turned designer posed in the items herself, these range from a breton t-shirt to brocade trousers to a prom dress.

In addition to the pieces that we already knew about there is also a typical Kate Moss leather jacket, a spotty dress (£60) (similar to a piece from the Summer line) and a 'Love' t-shirt (£22). There is also a limited edition range (with a slightly higher price point) which includes sequinned dresses, a military jacket (£120) and maxi ball gowns (£120).

Last weekend Kate discussed her latest collection for Topshop and explained the influences behind it. Today we can reveal several pieces from the line including the panther dress and a floral blazer. The panther dress (£100) still remains as my favourite piece from the new collection but I'm not sure about the wide-leg trousers. The items hit stores and online on Tuesday 28th October. Fab Blab: Kate Teaches Us to Get Dressed

This weekend Kate Moss revealed her Christmas line to the Sunday Times Style magazine. On British Style Genius we saw how Kate took her favourite vintage items to the Topshop design team to essentially copy and reproduce for the masses, but in this interview she talked about the direct inspiration for her next collection.

One of the key pieces is a limited edition full length blue sequined dress which was inspired by her 30th birthday vintage dress (above middle). Kate explains, "I later found out that the dress I wore that night was owned by Britt Ekland, and she wore it to the premiere of The Man with the Golden Gun. It is intricately covered in midnight-blue sequins, so we have only produced 10 of the full-length version." The full length version will retail for, a slightly shocking, £400 but a shorter version will be widely available for £130.

Kate Moss stepped out yesterday to do a spot of baby clothes shopping but before you get excited, it is for her assistant who recently gave birth! Kate took the opportunity to do a bit of self promotion for her Topshop range wearing my favourite item from the collection, the heart cardigan (£45). Celebrity Style: Lily Allen Loves Kate Moss for Topshop

When Kate Moss first launched her Topshop line (back in May 2007) there were several other celebrity lines including Lily Allen for New Look. At the time Lily had a slight personal crisis regarding her image which she explained saying, "seeing my picture in so many newspapers next to Kate Moss's made me feel grotesque." However, now over a year later its great to see Lily looking good in a piece from Kate's latest collection for Topshop. She was spotted on a shopping spree at YSL in the baby doll dress and Louboutin shoots. See below to copy Lily's look.

On Our Radar: Kate Moss for Topshop Hits Stores

Whatever people say about Kate Moss for Topshop, she must be doing something right as today we see her launch her sixth capsule range for the store. The continual demand for her designs proves that whether the critics like it or not, consumers still want to copy her world-famous effortless chic style.

As predicted, the latest collection is vintage inspired with '60s style dresses, faux fur boleros and a fringed jacket that Ms Moss has already been spotted in.

Moss continues to grace magazine covers (including this month's Vogue) and even admits herself that she knows what young women want to wear. Speaking the Wall Street Journal magazine she commented, "I've been in fashion for such a long time that I knew what I wanted and how clothes should be. I'm not the sort of fashion designer who goes 'Oh this is going to be the new thing'— I just wear what I wear and girls like that."

Will Kate Moss for Topshop be Vintage Inspired?

Kate Moss stepped out last night with her beau Jamie Hince for a launch party at West London's Bush Hall. Kate stuck with her classic ensemble of skinnies and a jacket but instead of a blazer she opted for a tassle jacket. The vintage style piece could possible provide a hint of what to expect from her next Topshop collection.

Kate Moss for Topshop part six launches on Tuesday both online and in stores across the UK but details are yet to be released. She recently spoke out about her love for second-hand clothing stating, "If I see a second-hand shop, I'll go in. But I don't, like, traipse down Bond Street."

I definitely expect her new line to nod towards the gothic Victorian trend, Sugar reader swwonder thinks that maybe it will even include a spot of lace.

Kate and Jamie were also spotted having lunch at Nobu yesterday as Kate showed off her latest tattoo and a great pair of ankle boots. What do you think her line will include?

If you're missing your Kate Moss fix as she continues to holiday (reportedly in Ibiza) then you'll be excited to hear that her sixth collection for Topshop has a release date! The Autumn/Winter line is due to arrive in store and online on Tuesday 9th September. Ms Moss put the finishing touches to the collection in mid-July. Exact details are yet to be revealed but maybe we could expect some leather trousers, a touch of lace and maybe even some loafers! What do you think the line will include?

Fab Flash: Kate Moss for Topshop to Head to China?

I wish that I could report that Kate Moss was in some way related to the Beijing Olympics but sadly this story holds no link with the current sporting event. That said, I think that Ms Moss should consider designing for athletes with financial aid from Sir Philip Green, imagine how that might look, actual luxe sportswear! Anyway, I digress.

The real truth behind this story is that Sir Philip Green has spotted another money making opportunity claiming that they could make £25 million by exporting Kate Moss for Topshop to China. Rumour has it that Sir Philip is currently involved in plans to buy a space in the Shanghai Superbrand Mall.

The population of China is 22 times that of the UK and the country is currently experiencing a slight financial boom. Kate Moss helped launch the High Street store in New York and is expected to do the same in China. You can see why she needs more money, after all Forbes predict that she only earned $7.5 million last year...

Fab Flash: Kate Moss Designs Charity Tee

Kate Moss' line for Topshop has left people divided. But having just launched the sixth part, High Summer, it seems this isn't a passing craze. Good then that Moss has decided to use her designing powers for good by designing a fundraising t-shirt for the Starlight Children's Foundation.

Moss told Vogue, "Starlight offers a lot of hope to a lot of children at a difficult time in their life. I was really happy to help."

Sir Philip Green added, "Starlight has made a real difference to many terminally and seriously ill children, and along with Kate Moss and the Topshop team I am pleased to offer support to this important charity."
The t-shirt will be available at Topshop from Friday with all the profits going directly to the charity.

Fab Ad: Kate Moss for Topshop

So we've checked out the clothes online and seen Kate Moss doing her bit of self promotion but how does she actually look in the ad campaign?

Her legs look amazing, especially in the red poppy dress where they look slightly shapely. She also makes the clothes look amazing, although admittedly she would look good in almost anything! I also think it's important that Kate does so much towards promoting the line as she claims to design clothes that she would wear herself.

Kate Moss launched her sixth Topshop collection yesterday for the high summer season. The collection has been well received with lots of pretty dresses to feast your eyes on. Ms Moss was spotted out and about in London yesterday attending meetings showing off her packed Mulberry Bayswater. The rumour mill went crazy yesterday amidst suggestions of Lily Cole stealing Moss' position at Agent Provocateur. However, Moss carried on attending meetings in cold meeting rooms apparently as she left wearing a jacket. She was sporting a blouse from her latest collection. Is it possible that Moss now does more self promotion than Paris Hilton?!

Last week Kate Moss was spotted out enjoying the sunshine in a pretty summer dress. Many readers wanted to know where the dress was from and although we suspected Ms Moss was busy self promoting it wasn't available until today! The dress is obviously from her latest collection for Topshop although it looks like Kate took a pair of scissors to hers to alter it for her own needs! The Stripe 50s dress (£45) is just one of many dresses available from her latest collection.

The sixth collection by Kate Moss hit stores this morning containing plenty of pretty summer dresses. She recently spoke out about her status as a style icon claiming to have a "thrown together look." The highlight of the high summer line is the sure-to-sell-out red pansy dress which has appeared in many publications. It is also available in purple but is quite pricey at £60. Also, the strappy folk printed dress (£45) is great, and perfect festival wear. There are a few tops in the new collection including pretty blouses and delicate cami tops.

There are lots of pairs of her trademark shorts including vintage silk short (£35) which would be hard to pull off. As always, let us know what you think of the collection, especially if you have already bought anything!

is Princess Eugenie Kate Moss' newest protege? The rather stylish Princess was out last night at Mahiki with fellow royals Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice. She was wearing two items from the latest Kate Moss for Topshop range accessorising with a vintage Chanel shopper. She was also wearing black knee-high boots which aren't too dissimilar to a pair Kate is attached to. Is Kate's latest business venture being a stylist to the Royal family?Princess Eugenie painted her nails an unusual shade (to match her dress) which Creative Nail design offer called 'Jiggy'. Her sister, Princess Beatrice was rocking a rather cool pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

Kate Moss for Topshop launched two weeks ago to mixed reviews. However, the jordybee was clearly impressed by the collection as she bought the dress and teamed it with knee high footless socks and a waist belt. I think the accessories she has added make the dress more individual.

There are mixed feelings about this collection which is the fifth that the super model has designed for Topshop. The prices remain quite high (£60+ for a dress, £45+ for jeans) but there are some really nice pieces that channel Moss' own style. Highlights include vintage style dresses, funky denim and a few maxi dresses. It's definitely worth look, even if you don't particularly like Moss. I've got my eye on the black and white striped cardigan. See more from the collection below.

Last week we gave you a sneak preview of the latest Kate Moss for Topshop collection which launches in stores tomorrow. More images of the collection were revealed in the Daily Mail today as Moss herself posed in a few of the key pieces. I predict that the blue dress (right) will be a key piece and probably sell out pretty quickly, the fringed-top (left) seems like a tricky item to wear. What do you think of the pieces?

Kate Moss' fifth collection for Topshop is launched next Tuesday 18th March. Her collection is said to take influence from her travels to Ibizia, India and Miami which sounds like an eclectic mix. A sneak preview of five of the pieces from the collection can be seen below. Moss also spoke about the line in this weeks' Grazia magazine. She discusses individual items, for example the top on the far left (below),

"This is such a pretty top. Its kaftan feel and fluid silk gives it a beachy feel. It would make a great layer over a bikini."

She also talks about the leather jacket (middle),

"Love this - it's my classic cropped leather jacket shape, but with a slight Victorian infleunce."

My personal favourite is the dress (second from right) which Moss says was inspired by,

"My collection of unique scarves from around the world. It has a very eclectic feel."
