Fab Blab: Britney Gets a Karl Lagerfeld Seal of Approval

Last night the Bambi Awards took place in Germany bringing together European celebrities alongside the likes of Pink, Britney Spears and Leona Lewis. There was also an unusual meeting between Karl Lagerfeld and Britney as he presented her with the Best International Popstar award.

Amazingly, it seems that Karl is enamored with the popstar as he tells her,
"I'd admire you not only for your art but also for your energy. You're coming back not only as a phoenix but as a bird of paradise." Whilst he is complimenting her Britney appears quite amused and I can't help but wonder if she either a), can't understand him or b), is trying to figure out who he is! Either way, I hope we see Britney in the front row at Chanel's A/W 09 show.

Fab Blab: Cindy Crawford

There was a time when supermodels ruled the world and demanded $10,000 just to get out of bed. These days might be upon us again as classic names such as Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford begin fronting campaigns for major brands such as YSL and Prada. This weekend the Sunday Times caught up with Cindy Crawford to find out about her "secret".

Crawford told the paper the realistic reasons for her ability to age well and about her continual exercise. “There is no secret, not like finding the perfect jeans. It’s genetics — I was born with a good envelope — and lifestyle. When I moved to New York, when I was 20, I was not super-skinny, so I got into exercise and it has become part of my life. You do not find time to exercise, you make time, otherwise you will find millions of other things to do.My job is contingent upon how I look, and I fight the good fight with facials and vitamins."

She also expressed her reasons for the return of the classic models. “It went all waify, but it would have been very boring if it had not changed over 20 years. It came back because the baby-boomers are getting older. They like seeing our familiar faces again, because it makes them feel good about themselves." Fab Blab: Alber Elbaz Gets Emotional

I always think that Alber Elbaz, the creative director of Lanvin seems adorable. The Israeli designer has been at Lanvin since 2001 and the collections seem to keep getting better.

This week he spoke to WWD and expressed the need to be emotional. “Today I want to have an emotional dinner. I don’t want to speak about the weather. I know what it’s going to be like for the next 10 days. We have the Internet. I don’t want to go to a movie and see people jumping. For that I have the Olympics. I want to cry and I want to laugh, but I don’t just want to see people jumping. With clothes, it’s the same thing. I think it’s all about emotion.”

He also spoke about his supportive boyfriend, how fashion is like French food and how Tom Ford ousting him at YSL nearly made him quit fashion for medicine. Read more excerpts from the interview here.

Fab Blab: Russell Brand on Ruched Leggings

Here at Fab UK, I don't usually concern myself with menswear. However, when it's womenswear being worn by a man the lines get blurred — and when that man is Russell Brand then the two categories truly merge! Eagle eye fashion fans will have already noticed that Russell has recently been seen in Sass & Bide's Rat Leggings. The ruched style appeared on the catwalk in August (pictured center) and have since been worn by celebrities and fans selling out at £95 a pair.

This weekend Russell attempted to justify his latest womenswear crush and he told The Observer, "I think the ruching, strangely, stops them from being too feminine. It's not often you can say that about ruching. Yes, they are ladies' trousers." What do you think about Russell embracing the leggings trend? Karl Lagerfeld Shares Pearls of Wisdom With the Olsens

Earlier this year I reported that the stylish Olsen twins were to release a book about the various influences upon their lives (and most of you wanted to hear about them). Although the book isn't due for release here for another month, small snippets from their interview with Karl Lagerfeld have been revealed.

Their conversation with the Kaiser came round to road safety which revealed hints as to why Karl recently took part in a road safety campaign. Karl explains, "I had two accidents where I fell asleep — after that I thought it was better that I don't drive. I'll get a driver. I'm a bad driver because I want to look there, there, and up there. I get bored easily — so twice I fall asleep and twice the car is destroyed … I had nothing [wrong] with me — but both cars were destroyed."

The twins held nothing back in their interview and even asked Karl how he still stays in shape after his crash diet several years ago. "Nothing … I have a doctor who I made a book with that sold five million copies all over the world...Since I started my diet, which was like eight years ago, I haven't touched what I'm not supposed to: sugar, cheese, nothing! I don't even look at it. It looks to me like plastic."

Fab Blab: Why Nicolas Ghesquière Loves Latex

Balenciaga's Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière has been explaining his Spring collection and in particular his use of latex. "Usually, latex evokes sex and S&M but I didn't want to say that at all. The rubber is not intended to touch the skin, there is silk in between. It's a softer image, not about fetishism at all."

Ghesquière went on to explain the eco benefits of using the fabric. "I'm not saying I'm Stella McCartney or anything but, although it's not seen that way, latex is, in fact, very noble because it comes from trees. It's a natural texture." The Spring line used latex for jackets and dresses, the latter of which was inspired by Coromandel screens.

For Autumn/Winter 2009 Ghesquière hinted at moving on to using lurex. I'm sure he'll do it in a way that will leave us all lusting after the unusual (often unflattering) fabric.

Fab Blab: Kate Teaches Us to Get Dressed

This weekend Kate Moss revealed her Christmas line to the Sunday Times Style magazine. On British Style Genius we saw how Kate took her favourite vintage items to the Topshop design team to essentially copy and reproduce for the masses, but in this interview she talked about the direct inspiration for her next collection.

One of the key pieces is a limited edition full length blue sequined dress which was inspired by her 30th birthday vintage dress (above middle). Kate explains, "I later found out that the dress I wore that night was owned by Britt Ekland, and she wore it to the premiere of The Man with the Golden Gun. It is intricately covered in midnight-blue sequins, so we have only produced 10 of the full-length version." The full length version will retail for, a slightly shocking, £400 but a shorter version will be widely available for £130.

Fab Blab: Marc Jacobs on Why He Wore Heels and Skirt

Throughout the fashion weeks Marc Jacobs confused me with his unusual clothing choices. Firstly he wore a skirt during New York Fashion Week and then he wore heels to take a bow at Louis Vuitton.

Today, he spoke to The Cut about his reasons explaining, "I always get nuts when women go, 'Oh, men don't know what it's like - women in heels, women in skirts, women in dresses - what it's like to suffer for fashion.' Although I've always wanted to be taller, which is the real reason I wore them, I also thought I can show that I, too, will suffer for fashion."

Jacobs went on to explain that he didn't actually feel like he was suffering after all. "It wasn't really suffering. It was a pleasure to be able to achieve a look that I wanted to look like."

In fact, he seemed to enjoy the experience so much that I wouldn't be surprised if we saw more of it. "I like wearing skirts and high heels and stuff like that. I don't see it in a way that it's like women suffering. I see it in a way it's like women get to have all the fun." Oh, and in case you were wondering he opted for a pair of Rick Owens heels.

Fab Blab: Mischa Barton on Victoria Beckham

Jordan has never been a particularly big fan of Victoria Beckham so I bet she had a little chuckle to herself this morning when she read the newspaper following reports that Mischa Barton is not exactly impressed by Victoria Beckham's style.

Speaking to The Sun Mischa stated, "Posh doesn't strike me as particularly stylish. I don't think she's a good example of British style at all."

She also went on to explain her own style adding, "I don't dress for anybody else, and I think the reason people like my style is that I do my own thing."

I'm not sure why Mischa has suddenly decided to attack Victoria and there are no reports of a comeback just yet but Ms Beckham always leaves people divided. What do you think of Mischa's comments, do you agree?

Fab Blab: Tom Ford

This weekend Hadley Freeman was lucky enough to catch up with Tom Ford for The Guardian magazine. She interviewed him about the great expense of his menswear line, his plans to design for Daniel Craig for the latest Bond movie and his time at Gucci.

He was introduced to Daniel Craig through a shared friend (Sam Taylor-Wood). Explaining why he wanted to dress Bond he said, "A lot of people think if you wear classic clothes you're dull. Bond dresses that way, but he does not lead a dull life - not sexually and not in his career. And with Daniel, you have someone who looks classic but leads a very exciting life."

Part of Ford's success owes to his business mind. He is on the ball, so to speak and predicts that China, Russia, Brazil and India are the upcoming countries, slightly bitchily adding, "Menswear in France does not exist. What do they have? Pink socks? Please." Miaow!

Fab Blab: Jourdan Dunn

Jourdan Dunn has been very busy recently appearing on the catwalks in New York and London for the likes of Rodarte (pictured) amongst others. She was famously discovered in Primark in Hammersmith and lives in West London with her Mum. This weekend The Sunday Times caught up with her. I am continually impressed by Jourdan who manages to remain level-headed despite the pressures of being a model.

She commented on her body image stating, "I'm not comfortable with my weight. I would like to be more womanly, like Beyonce. In the black community, it's all about having a big bum."

Jourdan, who is never afraid to speak her mind, also commented on the current view of teenagers. "I don't think every teenager is getting smashed. I got drunk when underage and was sick in my Mum's car. I never wanted to get drunk again. It was not a good look."

Fab Blab: Daisy Lowe

This weekend the Observer Magazine caught up with Fab favourite Daisy Lowe. The model, who is rumoured to have broken up with Mark Ronson this weekend, is currently back in London for fashion week. She has also recently been revealed as one of the faces of Agent Provocateur.

Daisy is often out spoken about her role in the fashion industry. She complains that they only want super skinny girls and in this interview she was quite explicit about her feelings.

"The thing is I'm not teeny-weeny stick sample size so I don't want to go along to the cattle castings and not fit into any of the clothes. Show size is very small and I eat doughnuts and Red Velvet (cupcakes). I love curvaciousness. Curvy girls are the sexiest girls. If clothes were built for curvier women, which is most of the population, one: people would look better; two: designers would sell more clothes, and three: they wouldn't have to use tiny anorexic models."

She also talks about what she was like before she became a model. "I loved chemistry and psychology. I won a chemistry quiz and got given a forensic scientist's uniform. I was 15. So at the same age as doing all this science stuff, I did the Agent Provocateur perfume campaign and I did get a Saturday job, in AP. I worked in the store room upstairs, but I still got the pink uniform."

Reading the interview left me wishing Daisy Lowe was my best friend! It's so refreshing to hear of somebody so level-headed in the modeling industry, particularly a model who is under so much pressure to conform. Daisy hinted that she'd soon move back from New York to London because she's "bored of planes".

Fab Blab: Roland Mouret on the Fashion Industry

London based designer Roland Mouret spoke to the new Wall Street Journal magazine this weekend about the fashion industry's need to adapt to the current financial climate. He spoke about the changing requirements of fashion and indeed he has already proved his ability to adapt to meet them. For example, earlier this year Roland teamed up with net-a-porter for the second time to sell his clothes directly from the catwalk.

Roland takes a business approach to fashion under the careful guide of ex-Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller. In this article he speaks about the changing face of fashion weeks stating, "There will come a time when the fashion shows as know them will end. That time is soon. Producing a show costs sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars. I don't think the returns justify it."

Designers are getting increasingly more outspoken and Roland is never one to hold back. He spoke out against "it-bags" calling it a "fake trend". He argued that they have no meaning and are just a way to make money. "Designers don't have to work or think about how to make their customers look good with a bag. That's why it's an easy choice." Few Fab Words About Costume in The Duchess

Keira Knightley has been working her socks off over the past few weeks promoting her latest movie The Duchess. If you've missed the interviews over at Pop UK then make sure you jump over there to see what the cast had to say about sex in the movie, and the Princess Diana connection.

KK: Well, I have no plans to go around London in eighteenth century costume! But equally not football shorts either. The costumes were completely fantastic and obviously she was a very famous fashion icon. The opportunity to work with Michael O’Connor, who is a tremendous talent, was amazing. They weren't particularly comfortable. It was very simply the fact that you need to wear a corset and can’t catch your breath, so any emotions are much more heightened. You can’t calm them down. So they were very helpful in the portrayal of character for me.

I almost feel like this should become a weekly column as Karl Lagerfeld is almost as renowned as Roberto Cavalli for saying controversial things to the press. However, Karl is more likely to present the world with a contradicting, frankly baffling statement than to join the latest press slagging match. Which is why I am so fond of the great Kaiser! This weekend The Times published an interview with Karl which took place after the latest Chanel couture show.

He talks about the usual subjects; how he loves books – "I’m mad for books. It is a disease I won’t recover from. They are the tragedy of my life. I want to learn about everything. I want to know everything" – his passion for fashion – “What does it mean – career? Everything I do is my passion.” – and his Mother – "‘You may be six years old, but I am not,’ she used to say."

Numero magazine recently caught up with Karl Lagerfeld and Alber Elbaz to ask them about life in Paris, the demise of Haute Couture and their Mothers. At one point we see Alber get slightly irritated by Karl as he refuses to define his nationality. Having lived in Paris for the majority of his life, you might think that Karl considered himself to be a Parisian however this is apparently not so. "I like to think of myself as an inside stranger, no matter where I happen to be." Alber pushes him asking if he is German, French or American.

"I suppose you could call me European, although I tend to forget once I cross the Atlantic. When I was young, I always felt as though I was missing the party whenever I left Paris. These days, I just take the party along with me."

Fab Blab: Mario Testino Prefers Vogue UK

Mario Testino's latest exhibition Obsessed By You is currently on in London at the Philips de Pury & Company gallery. In the run up to the opening of the exhibition he kept a diary for The Independent in which he discusses models, inspiration and working with Vogue.

"Most of my work is for American Vogue. I shoot for it almost every issue. This is a magazine that sells 1.2m copies and is probably read by 3m. Its reach is so wide you have to be quite easily understood. Whereas British Vogue's aesthetics are different. You can't give them work that's too bland. It's got to have a certain humour; a certain fun."

Fab Blab: Mischa Barton on Her Handbag Line

Last month Fab US revealed Mischa Barton's plans for a handbag line. The bags are due to hit stores on 2nd July, she has been busy promoting the line including an interview with The Telegraph. She explained that she'd had offers to do a clothing line and a fragrance but that she prefered to start with something small. "I love anything I don't have to try on because I'm a bit lazy, so handbags are great for me. But I'm not one of those people who sit around counting them."

Despite saying this, she is rarely seen without an it-bag on her arm but she confesses they are usually gifts. "Oh, I've just got this Fendi that is a fantastic collector's piece. It's like a side satchel with a hand-embroidered, 1960s-style, rainbow flower-motif thing…I can't really explain it, but they told me it was an $8,000 bag and I was like, that's a lot of money for a bag. I was kind of tempted to put it on eBay, hahaha."

Her range of bags, that will be available from John Lewis, Fenwicks and Debenhams will range in price from £25 to £170 (slightly more reasonable!) but she wouldn't carry her dog around in it. "No! I'd never do that! Anyway, they are both too big. One of them is, like, 12 pounds."

Fab Blab: Naomi Campbell Pays Tribute to YSL

Several models and designers spoke to The Sunday Times about their personal experiences with the late Yves Saint Laurent. Naomi Campbell's comments are particularly interesting as she explained the power that he had over the fashion industry and how he used it to encourage the use of models of varying ethnicities. Legend has it that he threatened to pull all advertising from French Vogue if they did not feature Naomi on the cover.

Naomi said,

"He helped me. When I told him they wouldn't give me a French Vogue cover, he said, "Let me take care of this." I don't know what he said, but I got a cover. I don't think I would have had so many opportunities without him. And it was not just for me, but women of colour: he was the first designer to put us on the runway."

She also added, "Stefano Pilati is amazing. There couldn't be a better person at Saint Laurent now." Awh! We can't wait to see the new YSL ad campaign starring Ms Campbell.

Fab Blab: Barbara Hulanicki Speaks out About Biba

In May we announced that Biba was in administration following a relaunch of the label just two years ago. Now the original Biba lady Barbara Hulanicki has spoken out about it's demise. She is keen to point out her lack of involvement in the brand's relaunch but told WWD,
"I think it's sad. Biba originally was straight to the public — it stemmed from a shop. The people who [took on Biba] aren't retailers — it's a different way of designing."

She did not rule out another revival but was sceptical of its success as the brand, "has been battered around so much." Hulanicki is currently busy with her own projects creating a wallpaper collection for Graham & Brown and jewellery for the Victoria and Albert Museum's boutique. There are also plans for a fashion and accessories line but the details are unclear right now.

Fab Blab: Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane was nominated for a Scottish fashion award last week competing against Jonathan Saunders. Despite this, the two attended a dinner party thrown by Kane at Shoreditch house and the New York Times were there to cover it. Attended also by Daphne Guinness, Tammy Kane, and the stylist Edward Enninful Kane confessed that he couldn't possibly hold the dinner party at his house. ‘‘My studio is so messy. I have magazines and piles of stuff everywhere because I often start working on projects and don’t finish them. We would have had to eat on the floor.’’

They ate Mediterranean food as Kane explains, ‘‘I suppose in fashion it’s important to stay trim. I was chubby as a child, and I remember that my family’s Sunday lunches were usually an endless procession of meat.’’
He also talked about Versace where he turned down a job. "I grew up loving Versace because, especially in Scotland, those clothes looked so amazingly obnoxious and glam."

Fab Blab: Agyness Deyn

The Independent caught up with model du jour Agyness Deyn recently in New York. She spoke out about her mad rise to fame, recording with Five o'Clock Heroes and how she hasn't turned in to a diva just yet.

Talking about her lifestyle she explained, "Despite what you may read about me, I'm not the kind of person who has a lot of friends, and I'm much happier just mixing in my small circle. I don't really go to fashion parties; they're not my scene. Well, of course they're precisely that – my scene – but I'd much prefer to go to gigs."

She also spoke about her prefered way to travel. "I do fly first class, and that's a luxury I've no problem with. Agencies always want to send big fat cars to pick me up for appointments, but if it's in London or New York, I'd much rather just cycle there on my bike. I like my bikes [she keeps one on either side of the Atlantic], but people think I'm, like, eccentric for insisting on pedalling to work. But millions of people do that every day, don't they?"

Fab Blab: Victoria Beckham on Those Kitson Rumours

Victoria Beckham worked hard to dispell some rumours on Radio 1 yesterday. She explained that she is not pregnant and is not going to be in a film but there is one rumour based upon truth.

Last month we reported that Kitson was threatening to drop her jeans line due to her lack of promotional effort. Victoria told Radio 1, "With that particular store there probably was some truth in it. I'd been on tour with the Spice Girls and at the end of the day you can't do everything. I work bloody hard is what I do, you know I really do. And I'm bringing up three children."

Victoria soon put right her error with a shopping trip to Kitson. Seems she will not make the same mistake again as she busily promotes the line in the UK.

The clothing item that you probably most strongly associate with Kate Moss is a classic pair of skinny jeans, or any jeans for that matter as that has become her uniform. However, with the awful UK weather you can hardly blame her which means we often forget about her classic item; the dress. This week, more of the Kate Moss for Topshop collection is to be released including a couple of dresses.

Kate spoke to the Observer Woman magazine about her influences, "I didn't really aspire to look like anyone else. I shopped for myself, mostly at jumble sales and Oxfam". They also asked her about being a trendsetter, "It's flattering. I think it's because I don't follow a trend. I just have a thrown-together look."

Iron Man star Gwyneth Paltrow appeared on the BBC this morning talking about her latest film and the uber-high heels she has been spotted in recently! She commented,

"It's always good to do important things in high heels".

You may remember that in March Keith Richards was the latest unusual choice of ad star for Louis Vuitton. He has recently spoken to The Times about his decision to appear in the adverts. He said, "I got a guitar case out of Louis Vuitton. They paid me a lot of money and it's all going to charity. I'm going to charity." He went on to claim he had no knowledge of fashion, and even opted for a slightly odd wardrobe. "When I got older I wore my old lady's clothes. If you notice, all the buttons are the other side."

However, you might not want to share clothes with the rocker who also confessed, "I don't do underwear. I never do the washing. How would I know whether my clothes stink? I throw them away." Don't suppose we'll see him hanging out with Stella McCartney or appearing in PETA ads just yet then...

Fab Blab: Elizabeth Hurley Admits to Airbrushing

Elizabeth Hurley is fully committed to her career, and achieving the most she can despite her age. She has revealed to the Sunday Times Style magazine the trials and tribulations of being a swimwear model. "Shooting bikinis is now my life, which as you can imagine is unmitigated hell." Hmm yes Liz, must be tough being sent to exotic locations and posing but someone has to do it, right?

"But if you signed on for the gig, sadly, you have to go and be jolly in a skimpy white bikini. So now I rely on nice photographers and a certain amount of retouching. I don't mind if they want to make me a bit thinner and a bit younger."

Fab Blab: Tom Ford in Prestige

Tom Ford is on the cover of Hong Kong Prestige this month as he talks about Karl Lagerfeld, his brief retirement and how much he enjoys designing. There are a couple of great quotes including,

"The Asian man might seem more gentle to his American counterpart, but it's just a different aesthetic. It's like the English always seem gay to Americans."

He also talks about Barack Obama commenting, "I think he's a great looking guy but I think his suits don't fit him very well." Last month the magazine featured a controversial interview with Karl Lagerfeld.

Vanity Lair presenter Alexa Chung has been speaking to The Guardian about fashion, her relationship and her aspirations to talk about books on Radio 4. She also discussed her stylist, Steph Stevens who chooses her clothes for television appearances.

"But in all the pictures you see in the papers I've chosen my clothes. People are shit when they deny they have a stylist, but she hasn't changed how I dress. She literally has the discount cards. And she got me into stripes."

She also talks about 'Team Evil' which includes LA band the Like, the model Valentine Fillol-Cordier and Kelly Osbourne, she describes them as,

"Like the hottest collection of girls ever! And they're evil. We're having some Team Evil Awards, awarded for how many hearts you've broken in the year. Like the New Member Award - we're going to give to Agy (the model Agyness Deyn) because we're trying to recruit her at the moment. But we're not sure that she's a heartbreaker, because she's too nice. She doesn't look evil. We made T-shirts, and they've got Lolita sunglasses with Team Evil written on them - you have to be obsessed with Nabokov to be in Team Evil."

Could those Lolita sunglasses be the pair we spotted Kelly in during London Fashion Week? Look out for Agyness sporting a pair.

Fab Blab: Jessica Stam Gives Catwalking Tips

Canadian model Jessica Stam has been speaking to the Wall Street Journal about her modeling career and even providing tips for catwalking style. She explains her walking styly involves pulling her shoulders down and keeping her head high and straight, for the best posture.

She goes on to explain that it's all about first impressions,

"First impressions are a big deal, whether you're walking up to the podium to give a presentation or into a restaurant for a blind date."

In a short video Stam (who is adorable) actually demonstrates the walk discussing problems she might encounter due to new shoes or accessories. My personal highlight is Stam stating,

"Fake it til you make it!"

Anybody else going to make this their personal motto?!

Fab Blab: Vivienne Westwood Speaks Out

Dame Vivienne Westwood has spoken out to the Daily Telegraph about her family, politics, art and fashion. She is typically outspoken but one of my favourite quotes comes when she is discussing the early punk days.

"I was always thinking, Why don't people tear their own clothes if that's what they want? Why buy a torn T-shirt from me?"

It's a typically quirky comment from Westwood who recently released her cultural manifesto and produced shows in both London and Paris.

Fab Flash: Jane Shepherdson Speaks Out about Topshop

On paper Jane Shepherdson transformed one store, although in actuality she changed the entire High Street by raising the expectation of the British public. During her time working at Topshop she took the store from a place to buy cheap looking clothes to a world famous shopping haunt for everybody from teenagers with pocket money to the Hollywood A-list.

She left Topshop in October 2006 supposedly following ongoing disputes with Sir Philip Green. In the months that followed she worked as a consultant for various stores before taking on a position at Whistles. She spoke to The Guardian about her time at Topshop and her plans for the future.

On her interest in clothes:"Loved buying them, loved trying them on, loved altering them, loved customising them, loved vintage. Just loved them; and it got to a point where I realised that I was more interested in it than most; realised there were a lot of people who weren't particularly interested, while I would be out every weekend, shopping, or trying things, or customising."

Charlize Theron spoke out this week about her weight arguing that she wasn't desperate enough to be a model to lose loads of weight.

"They were always telling me, 'Lose five pounds and you'll be a supermodel'...I had the capability to be a bigger model than I was … But I saw modelling like waitressing...It was a way to pay for another career, and that career was dance."

It's good to hear that Theron could remain level-headed despite the constant pressure of the industry, don't you think?

Fab Blab: Kanye West Defends Balenciaga

Kanye West and his wife Alexis had a busy old time in Paris last week as they attended an impressive amount of shows, however, it seems there's one show that even Kanye can't blag his way in to; Balenciaga. The notoriously strict guest list did not allow for the US rapper but he doesn’t mind.

“I totally love and respect any designer that won't let me come 2 there show... it's their show... they don't owe me anything... Balenciaga is one of the illest lines right now and I don't feel any type of way about not getting in!”

Maybe Kanye is mellowing out in his old age. He also admits that fashion is his first love, are we expecting a collection from him soon?

Fab Blab: Alexa Chung Explains She's "Very Limby"

E4 presenter Alexa Chung had a very busy week last week as she attended plenty of shows and parties at London Fashion Week. She must be unhappy with the current penchant for body con as she told WWD,

"I'm very limby, and if I wear tight clothes they make me look like I'm a child pretending to be an adult."

She admits to preferring smock tops but has a great interest in style. The former model explains,

"I adore to put outfits together...After all, I used to want to be a fashion journalist."

Fab Blab: Michael Kors Is a Teenage Spice Girls Fan

As the Spice Girls World Tour hit New Jersey it seems they have developed some very fashionable fans. US designer Michael Kors was at their show at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J and even hung out with the girls backstage. He told WWD,

"Of course I am a Spice Girls fan...I love everything that teenage girls love. I am the oldest teenage girl."

Ms Beckham went on to wow Kors backstage with her High School Musical rendition. Kors also met Beckham's youngest son Cruz backstage and commented that he's ready to be a star.
