As much as I want to hate Rachel Bilson for having the kind of wardrobe I would literally kill for I just can't get over how adorable she is. Yesterday she was shopping in Los Angeles with a friend and this cute pooch showing off one of the new season must-have bags.

Chloe seem to produce the most desirable bag season on season and for Autumn/Winter they have produced the gorgeous Elvire. The leather is slightly pebbled creating a great vintage look and it features two big front pockets.

It's not yet available in the UK but you can pick one up from Bluefly for $1,480 (roughly £750). What do you think of the bag?

A Sneak Peek of New Season Chloé

Back in March we reported that it was time for a change at the house of Chloé. Hannah MacGibbon, who has previously worked under Phoebe Philo for the brand is taking over from Paulo Melim Andersson.

Today WWD has revealed a few pieces from MacGibbon's latest line for the label which is influenced by '70s and '80s elements such as lace, polka dots and linen. MacGibbon describes the collection as a fresh start so used a pale palette.

She explained that the collection is also about a certain frame of mind, "It's important that it's worn with a relaxed and easy spirit."

Heaven Scent

After yet another new fragrance alert yesterday, I've been musing on perfume's long and complex relationship with promises - whether of sex, glamour, beauty or fame. And this got me thinking about why we actually wear scent - is it for ourselves, to feel extra-bellissima and gorgeous? Or is it to lure in a motley queue of smitten young men?

Sure, it depends on the day, your mood, the event - and perhaps even the perfume too. I've just started wearing the sweetly old fashioned signature Chloe scent when I want to evoke a bit of old-school glamour to my working day. But, I'd always fall back on Chanel Allure for down-and-out seduction.

But tell me, why do you wear scent? And for who?

Yesterday Victoria Beckham celebrated her 34th Birthday with two celebrations (of course). The first was with her friends at Eva Longoria's restaurant Beso where she wore a gorgeous backless blue Versace dress with matching Louboutins. The second with her family at Pink Taco in a gorgeous navy blue tea dress and strappy peep toe sandals. Everybody has been wondering what is going on with Victoria recently, especially following the questionable Marc Jacobs ads but credit where credits due and these are two great looks. Which of her birthday looks do you prefer?

Earlier in the week Kate Bosworth left us a bit divided about her outfit for the Late Show with David Letterman. Later in the week she was spotted out and about in New York with one of this season's must-have it-bags the Chloe Saskia. I think that Kate has found a good friend in Paulo Melim Andersson who is obviously more than happy to see Kate in his clothes. On this basis, I will be first in line to be BFF with Hannah MacGibbon, the new creative director. The multi-coloured Chloe Saskia that Kate has is not available to us mere mortals just yet but you can get a blue or yellow version from Browns for £790. They feature tongue detailing and are made of pure leather with two different handles.

Actress and style icon Kate Bosworth appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night. She was wearing a gothic inspired outfit from the Fall Chloe line which included patterned footless tights with button detailing. The heels were probably a gift from the designer as they're slightly too big and scuffed suggesting she received them straight off the catwalk. It's hard work being a celebrity, you know!What do you think of her outfit?

Fab Flash: Chloe Names Hannah MacGibbon as New Designer

WWD have announced that it is all change at the fashion house Chloe as Creative Director Paulo Melim Andersson is replaced by Hannah MacGibbon. Melim Andersson has presented three collection for the fashion giant but has received mixed reviews.

MacGibbon, who was previously a key member of the design team under former creative director Phoebe Philo, will take over the role.
