Reese Witherspoon looked stunning at the LA premiere of Four Christmases last night. The star went for a classic Hollywood hair style with coiffed glossy waves in her signature bright blonde shade. This short style suits Reese's heart-shaped face and her do looked sophisticated without appearing overly old-fashioned.

Last night was this winter's opening of the Somerset House ice rink in London. Actress Emma Watson turned on the Christmas tree lights looking ultra pretty. She went for a fresh-faced effect with flushed cheeks and glossy lips in a flatteringly nude shade. The Harry Potter star vamped up her look with smoky black eye makeup and bold brows.

The Oscar-winning Australian who was honoured with an award, looked etherally beautiful with flawless skin that looked a little more tanned than her usual porcelain colour. Last night at MoMa in New York, Anna Wintour arrived accompanied by her daughter Bee Schafer for the benefit gala. Alongside stars such as Rachel Weisz and a funky looking Agyness Deyn, the pair were there to honour director Baz Luhrmann. Anna's bob was looking blonder than usual and super shiny. A touch of peach blush on the apples of her cheeks, plus ladylike rust red lipstick gave a youthful effect.
Meanwhile, Bee's pale skin looked flawless and she opted for a barely-there lip gloss to add polish. Although I think Bee is stunning, I have to admit that I'd have preferred her to do something more special with her hair. Lily Allen looked adorable at GQ's 20th Anniversary Party last night in London. Despite swapping her black strapless dress for a pink fringed number, the singer kept her beauty look the same all night. She opted for a classic Old Hollywood vibe with shiny tumbling curls and matte skin. Lily's bright pink catwalk-esque lips were the focus of the look, but personally I can't decide if it's cutesy or overdone.

Girls Aloud had plenty to smile about this weekend as they partied in London to celebrate their current number one. X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole was working her girl-next-door brand of pretty as she left GMTV studios in London this morning, not looking worse for wear in the slightest. I much prefer Cheryl's daytime style as sometime her evening look is a little too over the top for my taste.
Cheryl went for a messy ponytail that had a distinct retro feel with plenty of volume at the crown and an Audrey Hepburn-esque parting. The caramel blonde streaks in her locks blended in nicely and a few flyaways gave the look a disheveled edge. Jennifer Lopez looked simply stunning as she attended Fashion Group International's 25th Annual Night of the Stars at Cipriani in New York this week. The superstar went for Grecian-inspired hair with a glossy roll piled high on the crown. A pulled back style, plus extra height suits J-Lo, perhaps because she always emits such an elegant air. Although I love her classic camel and metallic makeup, it's always nice to see Jennifer experimenting with colour. Lilac shadow bought out the sparkle in her brown eyes, although those lashes must be fakes, surely. A touch of creamy blush in a coral shade plus glossy nude lips made for a beautiful affair.

Glamour girl Katie Price pulled out all the stops for an over-the-top beauty look last night. She attended the Movida club launch party and mingled with the likes of Paris Hilton. Jordan seemed proud of her Carrie Bradshaw-esque Eiffel tower clutch bag, but personally, I couldn't take my eyes of her makeup. Her false eyelashes appeared to be inspired by a drag queen rather than a catwalk.
