My personal favourite
Gossip Girl Blake Lively is looking distinctly patriotic this month as she graces the cover of
W Magazine. Wearing a red peplum dress with her hair in loose curls Blake looks sultry and more grown up than her on screen character Serena.
Blake's golden patriotism hits newstands as Americans recover from their
Thanksgiving celebrations.

Style magazine
Dazed and Confused is not letting the credit crunch affect its fashion. The magazine has created a very colourful issue for December celebrating young, upcoming design talent. Fashion editor Katie Shillingford explained, "Our fashion horizon is positive and thriving, despite the panic that the credit crunch has inflicted on the industry.

It feels like you can't escape Ms Moss right now who just last week launched her
Christmas line for Topshop. Now she is the coverstar of Vogue UK for December 2008. It's Kate's
26th (woah!) cover for the magazine which was shot by Nick Knight.

A new issue of
Dazed and Confused is due to hit newstands across the country this weekend and this month the cover star is music legend Grace Jones. In collaboration with music video director Chris Cunningham the shoot is titled, 'The Devil Inside'.
Jones explains her understanding of the shoot, "It's not fashion, it's an anti-fashion shoot.

It's the start of a new month which means a new issue of
Vogue. This month the cover is graced by young upcoming model Jourdan Dunn alongside Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Eden Clark.
Editor-in-chief
Alexander Shulman explains, "The three young models on the cover of this issue have been chosen specifically to showcase different types of good looks, possibly even beauty, in the autumn of 2008. Jourdan Dunn, with her dark, dark skin - the cool face of young black beauty; Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, with her classic beestung sexiness; and Eden Clark, with her more left-field, pale, tomboy appeal."

Earlier this year the fashion world was left divided as
Victoria Beckham was the cover star of Vogue UK.
Now, several months and an
impressively designed dress show later Victoria is back on the cover, this time at Harpers Bazaar Indonesia.
Victoria is posing in a pale Bill Blass dress with diamond earrings and smoky eye make-up.

Back in July I revealed that British model
Lily Cole would be appearing on the cover of French Playboy and now the cover has finally been revealed. Lily appeared on the catwalk for Agent Provocateur earlier this year looking racy in a pair of latex over the knee socks so I'm not surprised that Playboy decided to have her as their cover girl.
Fellow model Helena Christensen has also appeared on the sophisticated mens' mag cover.

The October issue of Nylon magazine is dedicated to 'it girls' and stars the impossibly cool Zooey Deschanel on the cover. Zooey (who has
a striking resemblance to Katy Perry) poses in a simple shirt and dark tights but still looks amazing!
Other Nylon it girls include Daisy Lowe, Coco Rocha, Peaches Geldof and
Portia Freeman.

Nick Knight and enfant de terrible of British fashion Gareth Pugh have combined forces for this month's issue of
Dazed and Confused. The gothic cover features a design from
Pugh's Autumn line whilst the issue focuses on structure.
Just weeks ahead of
Pugh's Paris debut Dazed runs a shoot featuring the talents of both Pugh and celebrated fashion photographer Nick Knight.
Model
Abbey Lee features in the shoot with wild hair whilst being covered in unsavoury make-up made from clay, charcoal, treacle and sand.

As if fashion wasn't full of enough decisions already, V magazine have gone and made it harder! For this month's issues of the style mag you have to chose from 14 different covers. Cover stars include Naomi Campbell,
Agyness Deyn,
Christy Turlington and Daria Werbowy.
