Singer Katy Perry is currently doing a promotional tour in Australia. Despite the hot weather she's still looking chic wearing a red spider pencil skirt. Katy is also making us jealous with her gorgeous blue Mulberry Mabel (£595). This is my favourite Mulberry handbag from the new season line, the bright colour is a great way to liven up your outfit (not that Katy needs to do that) and as the Spring catwalks were full on neon pastels you'll be on trend ahead of time!

I recently spotted this celebrity style over at our US sister site and completely fell in love with Rachel Bilson's tote. Lets be fair, if Rachel is in on a trend then there's a strong chance than many other will follow her lead which is why I had to share with you her Pringle of Scotland Slouch Tote (£1200). The aubergine coloured arm candy has plait detailing and is a great way to nod to the Bopo trend.

You don't have to spend loads of money on a designer handbag to get a stylish daytime tote. This Autumn there are plenty of good bags available on the High Street, you just have to seek them out a little! I know many of you were left impressed by Laura Ashley's handbag offering (which is now available by the way) so I couldn't resist sharing this find too.

This Marni-esque high shine shopper is actually from Marks and Spencers (£35)! It's available in brown or black but I prefer the brown with navy blue detailing. It's a great daytime bag and perfect if you're still studying. What do you think?

Katie Holmes has been hosting a one-woman fashion show for casual attire recently as she heads to rehearsals in NYC for All My Sons. She has been favouring baggy boyfriend jeans (rolled up slightly) and plain tops or crisp white shirts.

However, we must not overlook her choice of accessories! The beautiful handbag which she has been showing off is the latest from those handbag geniuses over at Chloé. The Chloé Paraty is adored by mortals and celebrities alike. Kate Bosworth had hers way back in April but we had to wait. Katie has hers in python which raises up the price slightly.

Although it's not currently available online my sources at the Chloé store on Sloane Street, London inform me that they do have the leather bag in stock for £891 or in python skin for £1780.

As a handbag obsessive, there is nothing more frustrating than seeing a celeb with an it-bag and not being able to identify where it is from. This happened to me with Lily Allen when she started parading around a beautiful black satchel. Her and the bag have become close companions and I can't say that I blame her as it is a gorgeous bag. It's from the new YSL collection (Claudia Schiffer has the Muse Two from the same line) but will set you back a staggering £1120 at Matches.

Rihanna has been out shopping this week with her beau Chris Brown. She was showing off an ontrend fringed waistcoat (very similar to Kate's feathered version) and a shiny new handbag. The Fendi Twins Tote has a distinct vintage style but is otherwise quite plain making it a great investment handbag as it is trend immune! The twins tote is available from Eluxury for $1630 (roughly £830) in grey. What do you think of the tote? Do you like it?

New handbags are starting to emerge for the Autumn season both by designers and on the High Street. I am very impressed, and slightly taken aback by this patent bag which comes in at just £35 from Laura Ashley!

Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you, this bag is such a High Street bargain and sure to sell out as soon as it hits stores. I've got the online store bookmarked in preparation!

As much as I want to hate Rachel Bilson for having the kind of wardrobe I would literally kill for I just can't get over how adorable she is. Yesterday she was shopping in Los Angeles with a friend and this cute pooch showing off one of the new season must-have bags.

Chloe seem to produce the most desirable bag season on season and for Autumn/Winter they have produced the gorgeous Elvire. The leather is slightly pebbled creating a great vintage look and it features two big front pockets.

It's not yet available in the UK but you can pick one up from Bluefly for $1,480 (roughly £750). What do you think of the bag?

Now we already know that Fearne loves her Mulberry bag. From an oversized Roxanne to a grey patent Bayswater it seems that Fearne rarely leaves the house without a trusty companion. Today she was strolling around London showing off her latest arm candy, a new season Mulberry Maggie bag. The new season sees Mulberry producing sleeker, chicer bags.
