Yesterday was finally hot in the UK which gave us the opportunity to get our legs out for once. Sugar reader my bare style knows a thing or two about showing off her pins as she demonstrates in these vintage shorts.

Gear Review: Old Navy Short Shorts

I'm always looking for bargains on workout wear. Recently I found this steal of a deal.
Check out these Old Navy Active Yoga Shorts ($12.50).They're perfect for running or biking in this Summer heat and you really can't beat that price. I love the wide pink band at the top, which sits right at the hips, comfortably, without digging into the belly. They're short, but not obscenely short (5.5 inch inseam), and the material is stretchy but very soft. I love that they're fitted but not tight, so when I'm moving, they stay put. I just may have to get another pair. Too bad they don't come in other colors.

Cheap & Chic: '90s Grunge

No one does sloppy chic better than Kristen Dunst. Here she is on the streets of SoHo looking '90s grunge fabulous in a loose plaid top, short shorts, and flats.

The plaid top itself screams '90s but leave it to Kirsten to put icing on the cake with her signature Ray-Ban Wayfarers and messy hair. When wearing grunge garb, make sure to keep something loose and something fitted — wrinkles optional!

Shorts had some really good years during the '70s. The Fab fave decade also bared a lot of skin. One of my mottos is if you've got it, and many of you have got the gams, flaunt them.
