Alexander McQueen's McQ line is one of my favourite designer diffusion lines. It has all the edge of McQueen's mainline collection but is catered to a much younger audience with it's fan base including London scenesters Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung.
Last Thursday the latest McQ Spring line was revealed in London's Soho in a pop-up showroom. 
This unique and spacious doubled fronted Victorian home in London is chock full of original architectural features, French furniture, modern kitsch, and sparkling wallpapers, giving it an edgy feminine boudoir chic style. If the credit crunch is limiting your shopping habit then the unveiling of a cool second-hand clothing store should be right up your street! This month the children's charity Barnardos have opened a temporary 'pop-up' store off London's Carnaby Street offering shoes donated by celebrities.
Many stars have parted with their favourite footwear for the occasion including Peaches Geldof, Holly Willoughby, Helen Mirren and Mary Portas. 
This economic climate may seem like an unusual choice of timing for a store to expand. Cos, however, are seemingly throwing caution to the wind as they unveil plans for a third store just days after the opening of their second.
Cos, which is the big sister of H&M, launched in the UK in March 2007 with a store on Regent Street. 
Jade Jagger, jewelry designer and daughter of Mick & Bianca Jagger, has put her 1,989-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bath Queens Park, London home on the market for $2.4 million. The listing for the property reads:

Hussein Chalayan has twice been named the British Designer of the Year so it's about time an exhibition was dedicated to his name! The Design Museum, London has just announced plans to host an exhibition of his work next year looking back at fifteen years of creativity.
Chalayan is famed for his inventive, architectural fashion which includes a line of furniture that changes into various garments (see after the jump for a video). 
Kate Bosworth is currently in London with her beau James Rousseau. She was spotted at the Frieze art fair this weekend and was also spotted at BAFTA in this grey ensemble. Kate added a shot of colour with red studded buckle ankle boots from the Chloé autumn line. 
Yesterday I headed to the National Portrait Gallery to get a sneak preview of their newest exhibit entitled 'Annie Leibovitz: A Photographer's Life'. Leibovitz is one of the world's best portrait photographers working today and this retrospective documents her work between 1990 and 2005. It's a touring exhibition that has already been shown in New York and Paris and will next travel to Berlin. 
In this 5,500-square-foot London house, an eclectic range of furniture from the 1930s onward is spread throughout three floors and two roof terraces, proving that high style needn't demand high prices. Patterned upholstery, vintage wallpaper, and a bold use of paint colors makes this home full of personality, not stiff polish. To take a full tour, check out this slideshow.
