While last night's episode of Gossip Girl was filled with Snowflake Ball fashions, I chose to feature a more attainable ensemble. Serena van der Woodsen opted to make her boy toy swoon with an Autumn-friendly ensemble. Staying warm and stylish, the Queen Bee wore J Brand skinny jeans, a Diane Von Furstenberg printed top, and Cesare Paciotti boots.

Last time we hung out with the kids from Gossip Girl, it was Thanksgiving and things seemed to be mellowing out. Jenny stopped with the divorcing of the parents and moved back in with Rufus, Serena and Aaron settled in to an exclusive relationship, Blair got to see her dad, and Chuck and Nate made nice.
But now that the mini-break is over, the drama's starting up again, and this week's episode is basically a slow build to the annual Snowflake Ball, where everyone eventually turns up one way or another.

Celeb Style: Blake Lively Blake Lively walked the red carpet at the premiere of Australia looking just as chic as her character Serena on Gossip Girl. Serena van der Woodsen's Cell Phone Evolution Sure, Britney, Paris, Lindsay, and Hilary have all had cell phone evolutions, but they're real people who are upgrading. The only fictional character I can think of who switches out her cell phone so fast is one Serena van der Woodsen of Gossip Girl. She's had at least two cell phones per season so far, changing them like she changes her incredibly short skirts.

Blake Lively and Penn Badgley had a chocolate-filled shopping trip at Godiva in NYC on Sunday. While their Gossip Girl characters aren't together for now, the real life couple is still going strong and gearing up for the holiday season. Even if Serena and Dan didn't share Thanksgiving dinner, maybe Blake and Penn will have the chance to set the table together, especially since Blake's family is such a fan of her boyfriend.

Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman brought Australia to NYC last night. Nicole smiled with her costar but reserved the intimate moments for her husband Keith Urban who was on his lady's arm the whole time — wearing similar height heels, too. Hugh Jackman happily signed copies of his Sexiest Man Alive cover and recently talked about the changes it's made to his personal life.

The stars of Gossip Girl were dressed for Winter to film around NYC yesterday. Blake Lively kept Penny warm under her coat as usual and Leighton Meester bundled up in Uggs before changing into heels for the camera. While Blair Waldorf isn't one for tennis shoes, in real life Leighton and Ed Westwick are both promoting sneaker lines.

Rihanna was on hand to light UNICEF's Snowflake in NYC last night before hitting the red carpet in a more dramatic gown alongside Blake Lively and Madonna. The snowflake marks the beginning of holiday shopping season, which we've already gotten a great start on around here with all our fabulous gift guides. Rihanna was also there to officially launch her Tattoo Heart Collection for Gucci, which also benefits UNICEF.
