Alexa Chung was out in London last night at the Atelier Moët launch, where she played another gig as a DJ alongside fellow record spinners Jefferson Hack and Giles Deacon for guests like Kris Marshall and Peaches Geldof. Alexa also has a column in The Independent as their "Girl About Town", she speaks about her fluid job titles and her life in general,
here's an extract:
The morning after DJing, which ended up being incredibly good fun, the beyond-irritating beeps of my BlackBerry alarm woke me from my slumbers and prompted a sulky stroll to the bathroom. The Maker's Mark whiskey with which I had liberally doused my throat the previous night finally took its toll a bit later as I attempted to mount a horse while dressed, somewhat ironically, as a damsel in distress.

Telling you about the fashion world's current penchant for
leather trousers gives me the same sick feeling as when I reported the reemergence of the
bare midrift. It's not a trend that should be approached lightly but it was seen on the catwalk at Givenchy and has now been worn by British fashionistas
Alexa Chung and
Emma Watson.
It's a trend that should be approached with a skip full of caution and is certainly not for the faint hearted.

The
British Fashion Awards took place earlier this week and it seems that Alexa Chung might have used the opportunity for a spot of business development. The
rumour mill is today suggesting that Alexa might be about to announce a collaboration with High Street retailer
New Look as she was seated at their table on Tuesday night!
Alexa's style is much sought after and this year has seen her plunged in to the
style spotlight as we desperately lust after her vintage style dresses and funky ensembles.

Last night the British Fashion Awards took place in London. Luella Bartley was the big winner as she was awarded British designer of the year but Jourdan Dunn also had a good night taking home model of the year.

Last night Mariella Frostrup hosted the British Fashion Awards in London, and a host of celebrity fashion enthusiasts turned up to applaud the winners. My girl FabUK has
all the details on the winners, including Model of the Year Jourdan Dunn — who beat Agyness Deyn to the title — and Red Carpet Designer winner Matthew Williamson. The ever stylish Alexa Chung also walked the red carpet in a tribal boho number, as did Sophie Ellis-Bextor who looked classic
in her Topshop LBD and white tights.

Can you believe it,
T4 is 10 years old today! The show has become a must-have hangover companion on Sunday mornings for our generation, with
past presenters including Dermot O'Leary, Vernon Kay, June Sarpong, Ben Shephard, and Margherita Taylor. There are various celebratory shenanigans on Channel 4 today to help mark the occasion, and I want to know your thoughts on the
current presenters Rick Edwards, Miquita Oliver, Steve Jones and Alexa Chung.

Friday night was
Halloween (as if you didn't notice) and even the cool London kids got dressed up for the event. Alexa Chung hosted a Halloween party at
Browns Focus which was attended by her fashionable friends Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof. Daisy opted for an on-trend
gothic ensemble with bright coloured mask showing off her seemingly-endless pins.

Did you go to a costume party like Josh Hartnett and Alexa Chung did on Halloween? They attended Bungalow 8 for a spooky All Hallows Eve party, where Pixie Geldof also partied it up. OK, I guess Josh didn't get the costume memo — unless he's going for 'Hollywood actor in London on his downtime' — but Alexa certainly went for it with grey in her hair, a deathly pallor, and a cut throat drawn on in fake blood.
