Avant-Garde

n. A fashion forward or individualistic "look."

Refer to Junya Watanabe's Fall 2007 collection for more examples of avant-garde fashion.

Junya Watanabe is an interesting designer. Because he looks and observe dresses and he modifies them. It's not be original but he does make the garment look better. Also what ti struck me about him is the price of his garment. It's very pricey and sometimes over price. While i applaud him for taking something normal into fabulous, the price of garment should not be much.
As for his fall collections, it's very monotone in terms of colors but it's also very British inspired because it has sophistication while street look. Also it's very clean inspired like most oriental style.
