I think dark coloured mascara can look really good on people with fair hair/eyebrows/lashes and fair skin, but as I have pretty dark and thick eyebrows it looks ridiculous on me. :/

For me, brown is coloured. I pretty much always stick with basic black. My favourite is Courbe Virtuose by Lancome. It curls my lashes and makes them look longer and thicker.

I did once or twice when they were huge in high school but you couldn't really tell that the mascara was colored q:

when i was younger i always tried to rock the edgy colors and i don't know why but for some reason i don't think that i was ever able to pull it off. i had the electric blue mascara and i don't think that i was every very pretty with it. seeing this seasons' plum though, i'm really excited since i think that it's a doable color that i could wear and not look like it's halloween.
