Bohemian designer Allegra Hicks has been showing at London Fashion Week since September 2005 and has become quite a regular feature.

Although her designs are not cutting-edge they're wearable and feminine.

Sad news arrived in our inbox this morning as we heard that her Spring show at London Fashion Week has been cancelled. A spokesperson revealed,

"After sponsors withdrew from supporting our show in London in September due to the economic circumstances, we decided it was best not to show this season during LFW, but to present the new Spring/ Summer 2009 collection to the press after the shows in a more private environment. We will be showing our Spring/ Summer 2009 collection to buyers as usual from London, Paris and New York."

Allegra will be missed at this season's shows.
